She advises on dispute resolution and IP enforcement strategies across a broad range of rights, and has particular experience in negotiating complex commercial and IP-related agreements and supporting clients in the strategic management of their IP assets.
Her work combines detailed legal analysis with strong contractual expertise and a pragmatic, commercially focused approach.
During her training contract specialising in intellectual property law at a highly rated Oxfordshire firm, Julia also completed the UCL Intellectual Property Transactions course. Prior to commencing her training contract, Julia worked at Swansea University as an IP and Contracts Officer, where she managed intellectual property portfolios and negotiated complex research collaborations and IP licensing agreements. She holds two LLM degrees, in Intellectual Property & Commercial Practice, and Advanced Drafting, which was an add-on to her LPC, both awarded with Distinction, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Art History.
